Registration Packet 2024-2025
Pricing
ALL TUITION RATES ARE BROKEN DOWN INTO 9 PAYMENTS, due on the first of the month,
every month.
30 Minute class $30.00 per month
60 Minute Class $40.00 per month
45 Minute class $40.00 per month
90 Minute Class $45.00 per month
Monthly Max $135.00 per month**
***PER CHILD if your child’s tuition exceeds $145 a month, you are cut off from paying any
more than that. Your child may take unlimited dance classes at that rate. Adding tumbling will
increase this rate by $10 to $145 per month.
We accept cash, checks and credit cards. You must have a current credit card on file
to register if you plan to pay monthly.
If your check bounces a fee of $25.00 will be charged to your account. Postdated checks ARE
NOT accepted.
Registration Fee
A registration fee of $10.00 a child and $15.00 max per immediate family will be requested
at time of registration This fee is waived when signing up during Fantastic February.
May 2024’s tuition is due at the time of sign up for monthly tuition payment. For the
full year discount the full years tuition must be paid at time of registration.
Your first monthly Payment is due by September 1st
.
1Spring Recital Costume Fee
Your child will have a costume payment due the week of November 1st. Costumes fees are
as follows

**Certain costumes may be subject to higher pricing at time of ordering
but you will be notified about the price change prior to being charged.
Spring Recital Costume fees are due IN FULL at the time of ordering during the week of
November 1st. Partial payments will not be accepted. Only cash or check payments for
costumes will be accepted. Tuition must be paid up or you will not be eligible to order
costumes. These costumes are REQUIRED to participate in the recital on June 7th. Accounts that
become past due after costumes have been paid for and ordered will not receive their costumes
until their account is paid up.

Shoes
Dance, like many other sports and activities, requires proper footwear. Dance shoes should be
worn for studio use only. Please have your students carry their shoes into the studio and then
change. Even small traces of dirt or grease cause damage to the studio floors and make it
unsanitary for dancers performing floor exercises during class. A proper shoe will protect the
floor and make it easier to perform.
MantyDance provides shoe fitting and ordering through the studio.
In August, we will announce a shoe fitting date for all students. All students must come to the
studio to be fitted for proper footwear. Students may bring along their current dance shoes to
show proof of proper shoe, fit and color. Students with proper shoes will not need to order.
Students without the proper footwear (color, fit or shoe style) will need to order new shoes at
this time.
Students without proper footwear will be required to sit out during class.
2Holiday Show & End of year Recital
● The holiday show is scheduled for Friday December 6th. Rehearsal will take
place Thursday December 5th
.
● Costume information for the Holiday show will be sent out by September 15th
.
These items are selected by the studio, but each family is responsible for
acquiring these items on their own. You will be required to purchase/provide
these items by the show date for your student to participate.
● The end of year recital is scheduled for June 7th
. Rehearsal will take place
Thursday June 5th. (Closed rehearsal. No audience allowed)
● Please see costume fee section for costume info for the end of year recital.
● There is a mandatory t-shirt that must be purchased for each student. This is
worn during the finale of the end of year recital. Look for ordering forms
after January 1st, 2024.
● BACKSTAGE FEE there will be a charge of $10 per student per recital due at
rehearsal drop off. THIS FEE WILL BE WAIVED FOR BOTH RECITALS if a
parent/guardian from that family signs up as a backstage helper during 1
timeframe for either recital. Look for more information regarding this process
when we send recital info emails during the year.

Dropping classes
If your child decides to drop a class or classes at any point in the year you will be required to
fill out a drop form at the office and pay if your child danced at all that month or you will
continue to be charged for your child’s classes until official notification has been made to the
studio. If you have paid in full and are deciding to drop a class, no monetary refunds will be
given but you may receive credit towards other classes at the studio. This is because there may
be a waiting list for the class, and we are holding your child’s spot. We will continue to hold
your child’s spot until we are notified of the student dropping. Attendance is important. There
are no prorated fees, or refunds on a missed class.

3General Notes
● All payments must be on time by all dancers to ensure teams and recital/competitions
planned. All monthly fees are due the 1st of each month. Payments may be
$15 will be applied on the 5th of the month and a late fee of $20 will be applied on the
15th of the month. We will auto charge the card on file for the balance of late tuition on
run as made at the studio during office hours or online using your parent portal. Late fees of

● No payments on costumes, competitions, or extra things can be made until all
tuition payments are up to date
● Students with accounts that are a month past due will be required to sit out of class
until their account is brought current. They will be required to attend class but sit and
observe.
● Observers: All practices are closed. NO non-dancers in the dance studio. They may sit
in our waiting room.
● Dance Studio Notes: No food, gum, candy, disposable cups in the class rooms; no cell
phones (for dancers) allowed in the class rooms.
● Outside the Studio: No Bullying: This includes all negative references to other dancers,
posting pictures of other dancers without permission, excluding teammates purposely,
physical or verbal aggression etc. This is including the parents as well. This includes all
forms of written correspondence, phone messages, text messages and all forms of
social media.
● You may make payments, check events, class times, read and send messages through
our parent portal & App. ALL IMPORTANT COMMUNICATION WILL BE SENT THROUGH
THIS SERVICE. It is crucial that you check this on a regular basis.

Communication
All important information will be sent through email using jackrabbit. If you are having
difficulty finding our emails in your inbox you can also read them on your parent portal. You
can access jackrabbit and emails through our app listed under MantyDance in your phone’s
app store!
Text Messaging: Please sign up for our text messages. This is the quickest way to be

4Inclement Weather
MantyDance follows the Manitowoc Public School District, Valders School District, and the Two
Rivers school district, and Mishicot, and Roncalli policies for school cancellations. We will update
Facebook and the email address for current members we have on file by 3pm. When the schools
close for the day, or closes early, all evening classes/practices at MantyDance will also be
cancelled. When schools have a delayed start, MantyDance will decide by 3pm if classes will be
held. We reserve the right to cancel evening classes/practices by 3pm, even if Schools have not
cancelled. Cancellations due to weather are non-refundable and extra evening classes/practices
at MantyDance may or may not be scheduled to “make up” this time at Dance Teacher’s
discretion. Performances are never cancelled due to weather. Parents/guardians of the
Competition Team/Recital dancers must prepare for inclement weather travel for competitions,
as competitions are mandatory for all team members. There are no refunds for
competition/recital under any circumstances.
Code of Conduct
Please be aware that there is no use of alcohol or drugs on or around any event that
MantyDance is holding. This includes recitals, dance classes, and performances. It is your job to
show respect to our staff at the studio and any event MantyDance may be at. If these rules are
not followed MantyDance reserves the right to ask any student or family to leave for any reason
they see fit.
MantyDance determines all class placements. We want your child to have fun and be safe! We
will not take requests for teachers, or to be placed into classes with certain children. Class
placement is based on teacher’s and owner’s knowledge of dance, and the dancers age, as well
as level, and ability to keep up with the class.
MantyDance Strives to create a fun, happy, safe learning environment, and will continue to do
so.
**I hereby acknowledge that MantyDance disclaims any liability for, and agree to hold them
harmless from any theft, damages, property loss, or personal injury sustained by is on the
premises and arising out of the classes we participate in. I hereby agree to hold harmless and
indemnify them from any and all expenses arising because of any claim, which hereafter may be
presented as a result of dance class. We have no medical or physical condition in which it would
be against our doctor’s recommendation to participate in dance class. I understand that
MantyDance reserves all rights to dance choreography taught in class. The studio reserves the
right to dismiss any student/family for failure to follow studio policies and procedures for any
reason the studio feels fit. Registration fees, costume fees, tuition and recital fees are non-
refundable. I also agree that in case of unforeseen circumstances MantyDance will do what it
can to hold up the 9 months of classes or offer something of equal value. No refunds will be
5given in the event that an unforeseen circumstance cancels a recital or performance.
MantyDance is not responsible for government shutdowns, or pandemics, but will do what it can
